Aldford Village Hall
Aldford Village Hall plays a central role in supporting long-standing community groups, many of which have been active for over two decades. It offers a flexible space suitable for a wide variety of events and it's managed by the Aldford Village Hall Management Committee (AVHMC).
Regular users include Whist, Bowls, Badminton, Table Tennis, Snooker, Rosebuds & Stooges, and The Silver & Gold Club. These groups form the backbone of the Hall's community-focused mission, meeting throughout the year to provide social and recreational opportunities.

The Hall also fulfils important civic responsibilities, hosting parish council meetings and serving as a polling station. Additionally, it supports local events such as the annual Village Fete and the Beer Festival at The Grosvenor Arms, both highlights of the community calendar.

Beyond core activities, we welcome other groups, from basket weaving workshops to yoga, band practice, business meetings and more. By offering affordable hire rates, the Hall generates modest funds to sustain its operations, ensuring its flexibility continues to benefit the wider community.

Fundraising is also possible when there are free evenings on the calendar. From cinema nights and entertainment evenings to live theatre performances, these events will provide enjoyable experiences for everyone. Proceeds from ticket sales are reinvested to cover bills and fund improvements, enhancing the overall experience for our community.
